Information Gathering after Trauma

Today neuroscience can contribute positively to the way that traumatic-events evidence is collected. The way that someone’s story is told has a powerful impact on whether the interview or debriefing process will be re-traumatizing to the victim (or survivor) or will be a step toward healing and will promote or reduce the likelihood of secondary traumatization for the interviewer.
